I was reading a book about Paul Cezanne and found a black & white photo of him in his 30's. I decided to paint the picture and add Mont Sainte-Victoire in the background.
This is a striking composition. I think line direction has something to do with it. Next time, keep your main subject off-center for visual interest & keeping your viewer looking at your work. (man to left, mountain beyond to the right) I like your brushwork. Do you ever paint en plein aire? You'd be great!
